\u00abScandic\u2019s biggest breakfast party ever!\u201d samlet i forrige uke mer enn 38 000 gjester i seks land. I Norge alene var hotellene vertskap for mer enn 13 000 gjester.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Frokostfesten avsluttet et innholdsrikt jubileums\u00e5r for Scandic, og ble gjennomf\u00f8rt i Norge, Sverige, Danmark, Finland, Tyskland og Polen. Dette var ikke noen vanlig frokost, men en frokostfest med god mat, stemningsfull musikk, taler fra hotelldirekt\u00f8rene, egne stasjoner med spennende retter fra kokkene og en feststemt atmosf\u00e6re.

Totalt var det mer enn 38 000 mennesker som deltok i den timelange markeringen, og dermed ble del av en historisk dag for Nordens st\u00f8rste hotellkjede.

– Vi hadde store forh\u00e5pninger for denne dagen, og med fasit i h\u00e5nd vil jeg si at vi mer enn innfridde disse. Jeg er takknemlig for de mer enn 13 000 gjestene som kom og feiret denne dagen sammen med oss, og ikke minst er jeg mektig imponert over v\u00e5re ansatte som har bidratt til \u00e5 gj\u00f8re dette til et historisk arrangement for Scandic, sier administrerende direkt\u00f8r i Scandic Norge, Asle Prestegard.

I l\u00f8pet av den 60 minutter lange feiringen fikk gjestene mulighet til \u00e5 bli bedre kjent med hotellene og deres omfattende arbeid med b\u00e6rekraft. Hotellene synliggjorde gjennom arrangementet ulike m\u00e5ter \u00e5 redusere matsvinnet p\u00e5, og en ambisjon var \u00e5 vise at den beste frokosten ogs\u00e5 kan v\u00e6re b\u00e6rekraftig.

– Det var frokosten v\u00e5r som skulle skinne under 60-\u00e5rsfesten, og det gjorde den til gagns. Bak den imponerende leveransen sto et stort antall kokker som hver dag s\u00f8rger for at gjestene v\u00e5re f\u00e5r den aller beste starten p\u00e5 dagen. Jeg er imponert, sier direkt\u00f8r for mat og drikke i Scandic Norge, Morten Malting.

Scandic markerer i \u00e5r selskapets 60-\u00e5rsjubileum. Det f\u00f8rste hotellet \u00e5pnet i Lax\u00e5 i Sverige i 1963, og het Esso Motorhotell. 60 \u00e5r senere er Scandic den st\u00f8rste hotellkjeden i Norden med 270 hoteller og mer enn 19 000 ansatte spredd over seks land.
